GPS Basics:

$300 9am-noon Select Fridays

Understanding how GPS positioning works, and is used within the positioning industry. Attendees will learn how horizontal and vertical ground positions are calculated using satellite based system to determine local ground based coordinate values.

Pocket 3D Training:

$300 1pm-4pm Select Fridays
Understanding Pocket 3D and its applications (Classroom & Field). Attendees will learn Data File Structure. Understand how Control Files are calculated, what we use for control, and how to localize a jobsite. Learn how to set up a base station and rover, along with basic equipment settings. Stake out points, lines and design surfaces; as well as creating as-builts and topos.


Intro to Carlson Takeoff:

$600 9am-4pm Select Fridays
Learning basic auto-cad functionality, basic 3D modeling and estimating using Carlson Takeoff. A great way to get your feet wet with Takeoff.


Intro to Total Stations:

$300 Half-Day TBD

Attendees will learn the basics of how to operate their total station. Shoot and collect points, store and retrieve data, general functionality.


Intro to TopSurv 7:

$300 Half-Day TBD

Learn the basics of TopServ 7.  Configurations for both GPS & Total Stations. Collecting and Staking out data. Generate Topos, Measure points & Calculate Offsets.  Create stake out points and lines, GPS Site localization and more.

3D-MC Pointman Training:

$600 9am-4pm Select Fridays

Learn to identify issues and develop solutions. This advanced course will teach you to troubleshoot typical on-site issues; like base station problems and rover issues. Learn to repair cables on-site. General GPS and Machine Control overview, and what to look for to quickly solve problems.

*Optional "Pointman Kits" are also available. These kits provide everything necessary for your Pointman to handle breakdowns in the field to keep your machines running and eliminate downtime. This is the ultimate Machine Control "everything you need" kit. Cost of the Pointman Kit is $2159.00.


Advanced Pocket 3D:

$600 Full-Day TBD

Attendees will learn to calculate stock piles / undercut values. Create Break-lines "in field". Create Road alignments, Import and Export of data, and much more.


Advanced Carlson Training

$600 Full-Day TBD

Attendees will learn Road Design, how to create models for Road building, calculate material quantities, cut-fill volumes and generate 3D models.


Advanced TDS Training:

$600 Full-Day TBD

Attendees will learn how to do stake sloping, road-staking, COGO Functions, and calculate various off-sets.
